Summer in the Garden

This week have been fairly exciting? Haha. I don’t know but there’s no school and I like the idea of not having school. However, the thoughts of assignments pilling up isn’t that great. Well, let’s leave that for the other time. Haha.

Monday – Early in the morning, I’m waiting for my friend to message me as we planned to have lunch together. I had a great time during lunch together with you. Thank you. But my horrible colleagues went for Suki Ya buffet during lunch, without me... I am horribly sadden by their decision because I’m a meat lover and I totally love Korean BBQ or Japanese steamboat or rather anything filled with meat will surely cheer me up. Haha.

But oh well, I can’t have the best of both worlds so I had my decision made. My friend, if you’re reading this. Be happy about it, because giving up food is a hard decision for me.

After work, I went for eyelashes extension which I will write a post on it because I have good deals for you beautiful readers! Regretted not going for eyebrow resurrection that Browhaus offered me the other day, if I went for it I won’t even need to put on makeup anymore. I remember that I did it last December with them and I totally love it. Thank you Browhaus for pampering me.

Tuesday – Work is just like a routine, nothing special and even if there is, I can’t tell the details because it’s the company secret. Shhhh. Went home after work for a long needed rest because I haven’t gotten any good sleep, I've been waking up in the midnight over some overdue nightmares that shouldn’t be haunting me anymore but oh well.

Wednesday – Went out with my mummy and sisters after work because we haven’t done any CNY shopping! I’m also thinking about changing my fashion this year to something more demure for work and funky when it’s casual. Any ideas about it? Hmm…

Thursday – It's not my day! I'm all drenched in the rain while walking home after work. Furthermore,  I strained my neck during the afternoon and It hurts! But after showering, I went to pack all the stuff that brings back so much memories into a box and getting rid of them for good. While I was reading, I teared a little and feeling nasty. Guess, it’s time to throw them all away for good. After all, what’s meant to be, will be. While lying on my bed to rest a little, my mummy called and asked me if I want to go buy all the Chinese New Year goodies with them. So I agree and went to wait for them to pick me up and off we go! I love how I get to choose what I want when I go shopping with them. Guess, everyone love it? Haha.

Friday – Currently, I just had lunch and I’m freaking full. The weather is crazy, went out of office for lunch. Went out with blazing sun, then started to dizzier a little and a downpour for like 1 min and sunshine again. 

Just some thoughts: recent news on how other countries temperature went crazy is quite concerning, the rich and well off will probably be happy to enjoy the snow and cool weather. However, have any of you think about those that aren’t so well off? Like in Taiwan, there's some people who doesn’t have a proper shelter and proper winter clothing to protect themselves from the sudden change of climate. I just felt that before we celebrate the beauty of snow, we should also spare a thought about the poor and try to help them overcome this change of climate too. Hope everyone is safe and healthy! 

Have to attend my company dinner later and I can’t wait to meet my other colleagues that’s working at the factory. How I’ve miss them. Furthermore, the factory location is super extremely near my house! Which means I can have a scroll back home later. Hehe.

Have been saying about going to the Macritchie treetop since June 2015 and due to our lazy bones, we have been dragging it until the start of YR2016! We gather all our strength to wake up early and set off towards it!

Things to pack in your bag-pack:

Before you go, it’s always good to know the opening hours, distance and the estimated walking time so let me fill you in.

We took a total of 2.5hours to finish walking a distance of 6km (round trip including the Tree Top Walk). For you information we didn’t walk at our normal speed, we brisk walk a little. That means if you were to walk in your slow speed, it might take you a total of 3.5 hours?

The start off of the hike, you’ll only see tree, tree and more trees and you’ll be so focus on the road because there’s so much stones and branch that you thought you might just trip and fall. Fortunately for me, I packed some food with me first before heading and while walking I’m having my breakfast during the walk. Happy fat kid.

*Note: Please do not litter there and if you bring food, throw the rubbish back into your backpack and dump it when you see a proper rubbish bin.

After seeing this sign, sadly there is still a significant distance to go and the worst part of the whole trip would be the last 100m before the TreeTop Walk because it is upward sloping. Yes, I know. Argh. But survive it and you're ready to conquer the world! 

I think it’s a good place for couples or friends to go together, because while walking through you actually get to talk to each other a lot more than chilling in cafes or having a dinner as the remote place will make your wifi a little weaker.

It’s finally Friday and this week is an extremely long week for me because I have school everyday till Saturday. But this week is packed with not only school but also lots of ups and downs.

Monday – Everything was all right and of course, Monday blues hit me and everything is so gloomy as usual. I mean, it’s Monday right? Haha. Attended lesson at night and I had such a great night laughing and talking rubbish with my friends until my poly friends was talking about reunion dinner together and because of someone’s insensitivity and selfishness, I withdraw from the meeting. Sigh. It got me into crazy series of thinking and anyway doesn’t matter, I guess.

Tuesday – Woke up with puffy eyes but I’ve got my ways to get it less puffy. Haha. Went to work and was being dreadful to go school because my mood wasn’t good at all. Brought a book out of random interest and started to read it till today.

Wednesday – Went to work and had a appraisal done with my manager, the funniest thing is appraisal is normally done in the way where the manager will tell you where you need to improve etc. However, in my case I am the one who tell her what I don’t like in her and I told her that actually I’ve been waiting for her to come and talk to me because I know we have a great barrier within us. Which is bad. So glad that we talked it out and agreed to start working together now. And after the meeting, things started to change for good. Which I really like it! School as usual was boring as nuts.

Thursday – Work and school didn’t seems to have anything going on that’s worth mentioning but it looks like there’s some positivity in my working area after yesterday’s talk! YAY.

Friday – Woke up drowsy because I am so tired after the week of working and school. Energy level went down or rather depleting, while writing this post I am also looking at all the Valentine’s day promotions and visuals. There’s meeting for me to attend later, hope I can focus because I feel like sleeping already. Haha.

As you all can read, when I have visiting lecture for the whole week. My whole week is mundane, so let's hope for a better weekend or next week shall be exciting!

Oh, a little updates on my baby sister’s condition. For those who follow me on Instagram will know that she had undergo a surgery recently and to those who is very concern about her, do know that she is fine and is on a recovery state. Once she fully recover and start writing again, she will surely write down the experience of the whole journey. So, I’ll let her do the explanation herself.
