I hardly hardly hardly write negative feedback, but I have to do it, this time. As many of you (friends) know that my eyes are badly infected with bacteria. It all happened on the 9 Feb 2018, I did my eyelashes there and I felt there's something wrong as the glue stings so badly, which makes me tear like a litre or more. For the first time, after the treatment, the sales girl, Constant, came in with a cooling water mist to help my eyes to feel better. It didn't work but I appreciated the effort.
What happened after the treatment was my eyes became red and swollen the very next day, my eyes started to be irritated and eventually, I have to consult a doctor and get some medicated eyedrops. Throughout the whole Chinese New Year, my eyes were so red and irritated, I've to stop all usage of contact lenses, I couldn't get the lashes removed simply because no salon will work during CNY. After Chinese New Year Day 5 or 6, when we started to go back work, I went to consult the second doctor and the doctor recommend that it will be better if I were to visit an eye specialist as normal GP will give me the same medication and since it has been weeks of having these bloodshot eyes, it's better to see an eye specialist for it.

I went to the eye specialist on the very next day, as I felt my vision was getting affected already. I got admitted due to the blurriness of my vision and because all the medication needs to be applied on time in order to clear out the bacteria effectively. I was given Eyedrops with steroids, sodium chloride, and many other eyedrops and eyewash etc. I honestly thought I was going blind and that scares the shit outta me.
Speaking of which, I have been constantly texting their salesperson to tell her the condition of my eyes, but nobody cares about it and I even went down to ask for a full refund of the treatment and my package because I simply don't trust them anymore. They are aware of this incident and after a good 3 weeks, all they can do is to ask me to email their HQ... I did what they asked, and their HQ need another 7 working days to check on this incident again, so there goes another week. Subsequently or rather, conveniently, they blame it on the other salon that helped me with the removal of lashes!! They mentioned that the other salon is not hygienic thus the condition worsens after the removal of lashes. AND they say that they will not refund me, they will convert my eyelashes credits to facial credit... they just don't get it, why would I dare to go there again? Pushing blames and not taking responsibilities...
(Explanation on why I did the removal elsewhere, It is because I don't want to wait for another time slot with them, due to CNY period, they claims that they very very busy, no slots for me!)
They only took up the responsibility after I show them images of my eyes infected and bloodshot red (with their lashes still on. It's a disappointed and bad experience because firstly, they do not even have the courtesy to call and understand what's going on etc., Secondly, they took days to reply my email and even used my words to counter attacked me. Lastly, they push the blame to other people. What more can I say?
(Explanation: I told they I have been spamming eyedrops in one of the explanation, I don't literally mean it, but they use that word and went to find articles on eyedrops spamming is wrong and will cause your eyes to be more irritated... but the fact is, I obviously already went to GP and get medical advice on it already.)
You can see the images below, this is how bad my eyes situation is! The images are still with the lashes, as the lashes have been falling off due to my eyes keep tearing and the eyedrops I've been applying from the first GP throughout CNY. As you can see that my iris is already forming a thick transparent "protective" layer to protect itself, yes, our eyes are actually very smart but before I actually know that, I thought I was going blind.


No doubt, the salon looks decent and nice. Everyone there "cares" for you, just because when they are nice to you, you will not feel good to reject their hard-selling of packages! But my advice is that If you want to go to this salon, pray that no such things happen to you because if you do, they simply don't care. They will promise to pay all medical compensation to you in front of you, but when you email to their customer care, they just keep dragging, for my case, I just got my amount back!
The initial refund was the following calculation:
Package - all the "discount" is given along the package = whatever remaining
I have to argue that I am not refunding because I found a better place to do it, I wanted a refund because my eyes almost went blind and I have zero confidence in them. Then only they are willing to refund the true value of my package!

I've asked for my medical compensation, and they simply state the following, shamelessly telling me that they are refunding out of goodwill, and if I don't agree to their condition on them not paying me the medical treatments, they will simply NOT refund me.
I have no choice, but to accept because I want my money back. You think this is over, NOPE. Keep on reading and be mind-blown, I went down to the salon and I was being brought into a room and they wanted me to sign like an agreement letter to say that If I take the cheque, I have to accept the following conditions:
- The refund is private and confidential and shall not be informed by you to any other party;
- Neither party shall henceforth have any claims against each other arising from the beauty treatments that had been performed;
- You shall refrain from giving any feedback whether at their salon or any social media platform that could or would be adverse or negative to their company or business operations.
I was taken aback because they did not mention anything to me when they ask me to head down to the salon and take the cheque. I am obviously angry because I already step back a huge step to not demand the medical compensation which costs S$3000+ (hospitalization + eye specialist + 2 GP consultation) but they are just bulling me even further by asking me to sign this kind of agreement! Is like, take the money and shut up for the rest of your life. Ouch. How hurtful!
That money belongs is me, it's only right for me to take it back when I don't want to receive any treatment from you anymore!
Obviously, I did not sign that because it's insulting and since it's this way, I went home immediately and report this incident to CASE Singapore. Yes, everyone, this is unfair treatment and us, consumers are being protected by the law. I file a report for just S$10.70/- and on Monday, 26 March 2018, SKiNN got back to me with an attachment shown below:

If you have read it and wonder why did I "refer" people to this salon, well, that's not anyone, is just my friend who want to find places to do eyelashes, we went together and whatever amount she paid, I will be given a small % of credits. WHICH they took 8 months later to finally give it to me.
FYI.I don't do lashes often, but just this one time of infection, I am honestly scared as I do not wish to be blind.
I would advise that there are better salons outside and in a way more affordable price range and will respect you enough to tell you what kind of lashes style they will be doing for you etc. I thought to choose to go SKiNN at a premium price would get a better service and quality treatment but this is the kind of service and quality I get. I've tested it for you girls, so please, heed the advise and go other places.

I've seen a few and when I ask the Sales girl, their normal reply will be "oh, no la, is the customer eyes allergic to our glue. Their eyes sensitive, but they die die still want to do eyelashes extension. Nothing one la~"
I'm probably one of the customers that they are saying now. LOL.
