Summer in the Garden: November 2015

Last Saturday, I actually wore my Illumi shirt and running shorts to town to have lunch with my friend as we are going for Illumi Run that night. Felt like I’m being judged but who cares right? Haha!

I’ve been updating my snapchat a lot more than previous.

Did a little Christmas Shopping because I am excited for Christmas, although I haven’t really got plans for it yet. Also, I am considering if I should get eyelash extension because I’m curious about it but doesn’t know if I should or not?

When the night came, we started to walk to the Illumi venue and check in our baggage etc. Bought a few items, like finger-lights and waterproof handphone pouch.

PARTY ON THE RUN!

Just look at how clean we are before the race! It's their virgin run and they gave it to me, hehe. All three of us are equally excited before the race!

After the race, there's a after race party where everyone will just party their night away. Bought some beers and chill with my girls, and when we decided to head home, my sister called and say that her bunch of loser friends doesn't want to go after race party with her. Therefore, I went for round 2 with her because she told me she didn't experience such thing before. Haha.

I was really tired after the whole event but nonetheless, I had lots of fun.

First encounter with police

On last Friday, I received a call from a police and I was rather pissed by that guy because he called and simply just started to shout non-stop and he even threaten me to warrant arrest me if I refuse to take a leave to go down and assist him on a case.

Given my stubborn and hot temper manner I literally shouted and scolded back then I hang up his call, my friends around asked what happened and called back to verify and, of course, he politely talked to my friends because my friend told him that her phone has auto-recording in calls.

According to my friend, I have no choice but to go and so I took a leave on the following Tuesday and went down with my parents to see what’s the matter about.

Tuesday afternoon, when we reached the police station I was rather pissed and honestly I was expecting an old fat Chinese uncle that have those barbaric face but turn out to be just a normal police guy that looked friendly. Haha.

The moment I stepped into his office for interrogation, he just kept telling me that I am so rude to hang up his call and etc. And I obviously shouted at him that he is equally rude and I did nothing wrong to deserve such treatment from him. Only then, he tone down his volume and talk really nicely with me. Eventually, after the whole thing he is quite a nice and funny guy.

I hope this is a lesson for everyone out there, just because he is of some rank, he still doesn’t have the rights to be rude to you.

Don’t take in other’s rudeness just because they are higher rank than you in your workplace, in school or anywhere. If you think you don’t deserve it, make sure that person know it. Be reasonable instead of shouting, because everyone in the world can shout if they want to.

Bad eating habits

Today is a PH and I have no event or any dates, so I'll normally sleep till I wake up naturally which is normally 1pm to 2pm... Even though I woke up, I'll remain on my bed for the next hour or so. Basically I'll spend my day just resting around the corners of my house, it can be on my bed, sofa, my sister's bed, my mum's bed.. anywhere that I can lie down.

Food will no longer be that important anymore, cause I need my rest and I am too lazy to even microwave my instant noodles. The awesome thing about my body is that It will not be hungry anyway.. so i can go the whole day without eating anything and maybe just a few cups of water.

Went for a run and did some workout this evening, honestly i wonder where did my strength come from. Haha.

I wasn't hungry yet, until my parents came home and bring us out for dinner. When I see food, I started to eat cause I am finally hungry and now I'm suffering of indigestions. I always warn myself about this and promise myself to not do this, but I always end up repeating such bad habits again and again :(

By the way, today's weather is really good. It's been cooling the whole day and such weather made me wanna cuddle my bear and continue sleeping, can I take another day off tomorrow as well?

It's been long since I last baked and I started to bake simply because my ex have a really sweet tooth. And I enjoyed baking, of course. I realize it actually occupies my mind and how the end product could make so many smiles around me. That made me really happy.
